The Govex is an Exchange Traded Fund mirrors the performance of the BESA Government Bond Index . Govex units take the form of debentures that are issued by Exchange Traded Funds Ltd , managed by Clade Investment Management and are traded on the Bond Exchange of South Africa (BESA). The Govex provides easy, liquid and low cost access to a basket of South African Government bonds for both institutional and retail investors. Investors can buy or sell the entire basket of Government bonds with one trade. By removing the administrative burden of investing in a basket of bonds, investors are freed up to focus on value added investment decisions and strategies.
