The Numex is a Fund which passively invests in a basket of JSE listed equities through following index methodology rules based upon weighting by their cash flow. The top 40 equities in terms of cash flow are included in this index in an amount proportional to their respective cash flows. Both theory and quantitative analysis show that an index that weights equities by cash flow outperforms an index weighted in any other way.
